Well, how did that Sun-Pluto square treat you yesterday?
Compared to the past week, the planets are quite calm this weekend.
SATURDAY’S THEMES INVOLVE:
1- REFLECTING; OBSERVING THE COMINGS AND GOINGS OF LIFE – The Sun is discharging “a retired sea captain watches ships entering and leaving the harbor.” When this energetic is in effect, people, places, and things “leave” our lives, and people, places, and things “enter” our lives. We tend to recollect or look back on memories. Also, if excitement or a feeling of being “alive” is missing from our experience, we often look back into the past for it. It is a better idea to think of how the sea captain in this symbol is retired. He misses his old life, but he is wiser to accept a new era of his life, using his time to follow his heart’s desires to make his life more fulfilling now. The sea captain finds the inner Renaissance Man/Woman.
2- LOOSEN UP – The Earth is discharging the energetic of “two prim spinsters sitting together in silence.” This symbol involves opening up to new people, places, and themes, echoing the wisdom of the Sun discharging the “sea captain” energy. Emotional blockages, walls, and barriers want to come down with this degree of the zodiac. Branch out (which is the missive of First Quarter Moon phase).
3- CHATTER, CONVERSATIONS, AND BACKGROUND NOISE – Venus is discharging “a parrot listening and then talking, repeats a conversation he has overheard,” while Mars continues to discharge “birds in a house singing happily.” Birds, birds, birds. Birds represent spiritual messengers. What is “spoken” this weekend has impact. Spirit “transmits” information to use through the voices of the birds and bards and the things that we happen to overhear. We want to turn our listening skills “up to 11,” vigilant for key pieces of information. (On the macro level, the theme of war is being “chatted up” dramatically.)
The Moon will conjunct Pluto Saturday night at 9:57 pm ET/Sunday morning at 1:57 am UT. This combo will trigger or re-activate things that were in effect with yesterday’s Sun-Pluto square. It may be helpful to go back and read yesterday’s Oracle Report and “reflect” like the sea captain, and see how we now feel about the things that are being affected. Friday’s report remains posted below and on the Home page of oraclereport.com. Yesterday was a pivotal day.
SUNDAY’S THEMES INVOLVE:
1- STOPPED; PAUSING BEFORE REACTING – The Sun is discharging “two men placed under arrest.” When this symbol is in effect, we can be very critical of ourselves and very critical of others. It is important not to “jump the gun” or react too soon with things. More things may be revealed before the final outcome occurs. Self-sabotage and feeling stuck is somewhat heightened when a planet discharges this degree. We also see the beliefs, feelings, and situations that no longer serve or provide anything positive.
2- GIVING YOURSELF A BREAK – The Earth is discharging “an empty hammock,” which always reminds us to take time out. The energy asks us to detach from pressures and responsibilities for a while and recharge. We have several planets in cardinal signs, which means changes are afoot this month. Changes require energy, so refueling is advised.
3- PARTING DARKNESS, IGNORANCE, AND HOPELESSNESS – Venus discharges the energetic of “a woman drawing aside two dark curtain that closed the entrance to a sacred pathway.” Long time readers of Oracle Report remember this Sabian symbol well. The courage, will, and desire to enlarge our perceptions and experiences comes from something that clears the way, especially if that way has been unknown or hidden from us. We finally have the “eyes to see.” Revelations are timed to certain energetics of degrees of the zodiac, and this one is a particularly potent one. Mysteries are revealed or solved. Obstacles are removed. Energy to continue on is restored. Faith carries us through.
ON BOTH DAYS, Mercury discharges light on Saturday with “the dawn of a new day reveals everything changed,” and on Sunday with “a group of young people sit in spiritual communion around a campfire.” This month we have the “three masters hanging in a special room in an art gallery.” The Masters of Light are displaying and exhibiting their skill with the use of light all month long. This weekend, they have the light on day and night.
We’ll keep the lights on here, too. This is a lot of information to process at once, so revisit it now and again this weekend, and take it in pieces. What you get out of this report will change throughout the weekend. Layers of light are intended. To some degree they are “time coded” for different understanding at different times. I hope you have a multi-dimensional experience with this report, as we watch the comings and goings of the times.
UPDATE FOR SUBSCRIBERS: If you have not received the Welcome email by 10:00 am ET Sunday, October 9 please email email@example.com. If you need to change the email address where the report is sent to you or if you have any other questions/issues, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The daily posts will remain public for a few more days until everyone is on board. Thank you all for your patience with this behemoth transition. Overall, I am pretty happy with how it has progressed. Andrew and I discuss the behind the scenes “activities” that have taken place FOR OVER A YEAR to prevent this in the audio recording that is posted on the subscriber site. The link to go there is in the Welcome email. It will shed more light on just how wonderful the parliament of wise owls is.
Happy weekend, everyone!
Sometimes finding the answer is as easy as taking a break and stepping back from the situation.
Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in our thoughts that we wind up going round in round in circles, finding it difficult to concentrate on things and, because we are so distracted, not really accomplishing much. There may be signals—mental, emotional, and physical—that tell us we need to slow down and relax. Since we are so involved in things that are external to us, however, we may easily overlook what is really going on inside of us. It is during these times that we need to step back from the things that occupy our minds and take time out to connect with our inner self, giving our minds, bodies, and spirits the time they need to reenergize and heal.
At first it may seem that by taking a break we may not be as productive as we would initially like. In reality, a healthy period of rest is something that gives us a real sense of the unlimited nature of our true potential. Spending a couple of minutes walking outside, doing a few yoga poses, meditating, or simply becoming attuned to the rising and falling of our breath enables us to let go of our worries. This act brings our focus back to the things that are truly essential for us, such as our sense of oneness with the universe and our inner peace and well-being. As we begin to get in touch with this part of ourselves, we will find that our usual everyday troubles and worries become less critical and that we not only have much more room in our lives to really reflect on the issues that mean the most to us, but we are also able bring to all the situations we encounter a much more positive and healthy outlook.
Giving ourselves respite from our daily concerns is like giving a gift to ourselves. By stepping away from the problems that seem to saturate our thoughts, we lessen the weight of our troubles and instead become more receptive to the wisdom and answers the universe has to offer us.
ART: MYSTIC MAMMA
“This Full Moon occurs at 4:27 am PST, 7:27 am EST, and 12:27 pm Greenwich on December 6…showing the light of a broader view of higher truths expressed in multi-faceted ways that close the process of discovery and begin the process of externalizing something.”
“This one will activate us, and some will find themselves ‘liberated from adverse conditions’ through ‘spectacular events’ that lead them to full mobilization…”
“This Full Moon blows the focus wide open! Besides being in a string of Full Moons that are transfiguring, this one is also mobilizing, anticipating, adaptive, demonstrative, and future-oriented…
“In general, this Full Moon will bring blessings, vision, truth, promise, protection, and new initiatives that will mobilize us to act in order to deal with unexpected things that present themselves.”
“…This Lunation is more about opening the way to the future at the end of an old cycle than deepening past patterns…….”

Inspiration for the Week
Give yourself a fast from negative thoughts about yourself.
by Shanta Gabriel
– June 9, 2014 in Inspiration, Interesting Times, Personal Stories
We are drawing on the compassionate and timeless wisdom of The Gabriel Messages to provide insight and inspiration that we can apply every day to our busy lives.
For this week’s issue we are being reminded about the importance of treating ourselves with love and compassion.
The Gabriel Message card for this week
Give yourself a fast from negative thoughts about yourself.
This card always shows up at opportune moments when I notice I am being less than compassionate with myself. It is a very old habit. Somehow I took all the criticism I received growing up and heaped it on myself when I was away from home.
It appeared that I thought if I could really be relentless with myself it would somehow make me better. My ego kept me on a very short leash. I guess it wanted to make sure I toed some line that would ensure that I was doing “it correctly.” I felt that I was somehow flawed and my natural exuberance needed to be corralled. This made me live in a very contracted state, and of course I attracted people that would step right in and add more judgments in case I relaxed my vigilance.
It was during the millennium shift when I received a brilliant gift from the Universe disguised as the loss of everything I held dear. At that critical juncture I realized that if ever I needed compassion, this was the time. I also started giving myself more permission to be authentic and live in my truth. I noticed that when I would back off from my critical mind, my heart would open and I felt more love for all things — including myself. It was a new experience.
It is clear that if being very critical and hard on myself would “whip me into shape” I would have been enlightened long ago. What my spirit really needs is tenderness and support. It takes a different kind of vigilance to be aware of my habitual thoughts about myself and my world. Usually my feelings let me know. When I’m being hard on myself I feel awful. There’s the first clue. I go out of my way now to be as kind to myself as I am with others. Usually I am very kind to other people and give them the benefit of my love and compassion. This is what I need as well.
Sometimes I just put my hand on my heart when I notice my thinking has gone off the love track. That is the Quick Coherence Technique from HeartMath.org. That simple gesture brings me back into a loving place with myself and helps me attune to the One Heart within all beings. Just touching myself kindly in this way is also very soothing to my inner self, as well as my mammalian body.
Synchronicity was demonstrated just beautifully after I wrote the above paragraph. I went to my email and there from HeartMath was an article about the importance of self-love. When this happens, I love it. It helps me to know that I am in tune. Here is a portion of the article:
Self-love means being more compassionate, patient and accepting of ourselves. It means choosing to make self-care a priority. The idea of self-love might feel a bit awkward, but it is not selfish. It is necessary. As we get better at self-love we feel more confident and understand that self-love and loving others is simply a reflection of our deepest essence.
A little child thrives when she is adored and encouraged. This is also true of our inner spirit. We need to be our own greatest cheerleader and supporter in life. The steps we take to give ourselves the benefit of our love and reassurance will lift our vibrational frequency, making it even easier to feel love about ourselves and the world.
In these times when our vibrational frequencies quickly attract more of what we are thinking and feeling, it is exceptionally important to stay as loving with ourselves as possible. We need to keep our thoughts in alignment with the Divine Mind through awareness. Alignment with that vertical access to Source energy is key to being able to stay more conscious in daily life. From this place we can be more accepting of ourselves and allow the situations in our lives to unfold more gracefully.
It begins with our thoughts and our intention to stay in a loving, accepting place with ourselves. Sometimes it requires we be vigilant with our thoughts, but usually it is enough to be willing to give ourselves the compassion and kindness that we all truly deserve.
Know deeply that you are totally lovable and worthy of all that is good. Now let your heart receive love from the Source of all Life, from the Angels, and most of all, from yourself.
The Gabriel Messages #39Give Yourself a Fast from Negative Thoughts about Yourself.
You are being asked to give yourself a fast from negative thoughts about who you think you are. Nothing wears down your sense of self more than this type of negative thinking. It is debilitating in every way. Your thoughts are a good place to start in order to affect other areas of your life.
A fast is a time period in which you refrain from some activity. Most people are familiar with a food fast, which allows the digestive system a period of recovery. The same is true for a mental fast. It gives your mind time to recover so you can begin to see the truth in your life without judgment.
The judgmental mind is relentless, constantly seeking out inadequacies to bring them to your awareness. Although shining light into the dark corners of your mind is beneficial, bombarding yourself with negative thoughts, even if you believe them to be true, serves no good purpose.
So what can you do when such incessant thoughts begin in your mind — thoughts like “I should have done better,” “I can never do it right,” and other negative impressions of your personal character?
Go to God first. Ask to know the truth clearly within yourself. Call on the Angels to illuminate your mind with love and light. Ask for peace in your heart and then offer all your thoughts to the Divine Mind.
During your meditations and prayers, take time to visualize these as limiting thoughts you no longer need. Place them in a box and do something creative with them. Sink them to the bottom of the ocean. Send them to heaven in a colorful balloon, or explode them. Find an image that works for you and purposefully send the negative thoughts out of your conscious mind.
It is a law of nature that empty spaces become quickly filled, so remember to fill your now empty mind with light. Light is love energy from the Source of all Life. Light contains the seeds of truth and will stimulate loving thoughts. You can elaborate on this by imagining that your mind is a golden chalice being filled with God’s love.
Repeat this entire process as often as needed until you are no longer willing to tear yourself down and treat yourself unkindly. Instead, see yourself as you truly are — a beloved child of God; a spirit in human form; a clear vessel able to hold the highest possible level of truth; a beautiful, loving being shining love into the world.
You can also turn these statements of truth into affirmations or statements of “I AM” and they will become potent reminders, enabling you to strengthen your connection to your divine essence. There is great power in the words “I AM”. Be conscious of whatever you say next because you are making a definitive statement about yourself. You can substitute these or similar affirmations whenever you notice your mind engaged in negative self-talk. Here are some examples:
I am one with God. I am peaceful and loving. I am inspired with thoughts which serve my highest good. I am relaxed and at peace. I am enjoying an abundant lifestyle. I am offering all my work to the Divine Presence and I am fulfilled. I am surrounded and filled with Well-being. I am now empowered to live in harmony with myself.
Have these or other phrases ready to quickly turn to, as soon as you notice negative thoughts creeping in. Don’t worry if you don’t believe your words at first. This is just the resistance of old habits of thought and these habits can be changed.
Begin now to treat yourself with kindness and compassion. Remember that you are profoundly loved. Know that Angels embrace you in wings of pure light and see you as a beautiful, radiant spirit here to bring love to the world.
This is the truth of who you really are, so please remember your guidance for today:
Give yourself a fast from negative thoughts about yourself.
