The video version of this forecast, as read by Kelly, is available here.

3/17 ~ Mercury Rx (expression) ~sextile~ Mars (passion):
(2 of 3: 2/7 ~ 3/17 ~ 5/1)

This is a healthy selfish energy (aka self-preservation). Do not hold back this week. If you have a big dream or serious goal you have been working toward, then this is the time that may attract the assistance you need from the Universe. This is definitely a “work” energy, however, it brings with it the caveat that it is best if you work alone on something important to you. No one else is (or ever will be) as dedicated to your goal as YOU will be, nor should you expect them to be. You are now connected to the extra energy it takes to push your goals to the next level, bringing you a sense of accomplishment while outlining the next tasks to be done. Opportunities present themselves all the time, all you have to do is be ready!! If you are given the opportunity to make a presentation, go for it! Your clarity, energy & enthusiasm will be unmatched and that’s what people respond to. Don’t choose this time to be “shy” or doubt that you’re ready – you are definitely ready … otherwise you wouldn’t be here!! One of my favorite sayings is: “At the moment of commitment, the Universe conspires to assist you!” It’s time to decide if you are committed and how truly committed you are, to your own success.

3/20 ~ Mars (energy) ~trine~ Pluto (transformation):

This is an active, transformative energy that will help you to change your life in a healthy, positive way. You may have the energy & inclination to make major personal (and permanent) changes to who you are and what you want on a deep Soul level. Because it’s a Trine, it promises more ease than is usually associated with Pluto, and in this case, makes transformation smoother. You may be especially focused on what needs to be done or changed in your life at this time. You will want to take action and the Universe supports that decision, as long as it is righteous and not totally self-serving. This is a good time to get moving, take action regarding your long term goals – and you will be able to create momentum. You may realize some of your recent actions or choices do not necessarily support your deepest drives or desires. As you get in alignment within & without, the results can be miraculous. Be creative ~ be brave!

3/20 ~ Mercury Rx (communication) ~sextile~ Saturn (responsibility):
(2 of 3: 2/19 ~ 3/20 ~ 4/7)

This energy is really good for being able to objectively see what needs to be changed, fixed or stabilized in your life or environment. One expression of this energy is a tendency toward depression or apathy, but a better expression would be facing what needs to be done and following through on what you have begun. You may feel the need to organize things at home or work, or perhaps take a class or workshop of some sort that will help you attain your current goals. Either way, be focused but not too serious – balance in all things. It’s when you focus on the lack and limitation that you feel overwhelmed and sometimes helpless. That’s not the point of this energy. It’s just time to do some serious thinking, tend to the details, take stock and make changes accordingly.

3/20 ~ LIBRA Super/Full Moon (1 of 2: 3/20 & 4/19):

This is the last Full Moon in a series of six that fell at the Zero Point of Possibilities. Can you feel the process that you have been through, personally, over the last 6-months? Can you feel the Universe reshaping, repositioning you to birth a whole new way of living on Earth and relating with other living beings? In order to do that, relate in a whole new way with Life, we’ve undergone quite a rigorous release process over the last 6-months alone. When you ‘shed skins’, you have to know that you are raw & vulnerable as you grown new skin or if it is a new birth of any kind, there is an initial stage of development that immediately follows birth that is the most vital for the health & well-being of the (creative) baby.

When we get two Full Moons in one 28-day lunar cycle, it facilitates what I call the *Lunar FLIP*. For the last 18-months, the Full Moon has been preceding the New Moon. During that time, often we have to finish things before anything new will take root. So reflect on the last year and a half and see if that may be true for you as well. I definitely found that every time I went to start something new, something old and in the way would pop up out of nowhere. Now, for the next 18-months, the New Moon will precede the Full Moon so now we will have to plant seeds and walk by faith. During this time, I usually feel like we have to initiate with many unknowns and proceed to the Full Moon which inevitably reveals something we overlooked, creating an opportunity to clear anything in the way of our New Moon Intentions. There is no right or wrong to this, it is the Moon so we feel it on very subtle levels but what I’ve learned is that most of us have a preference so if you know what the cycle is up to, you can prepare better as well.

As for our two Libra Full Moons, this is giving us two chances to do this deep clearing in the relationship department and honor the annual opportunity to complete things and tie up any loose ends in our relationships, personal, professional or both. That means anything and anyone that you have to relate to on a regular basis has this annual opportunity for renewal on a very deep level. It is a time to notice what is out of balance and take advantage of the initiatory energy of the Spring to clear it out and make space for new relationships and for new ways of relating in general. This one has so much additional power & juice for clearing out old, toxic, imbalanced relationships in a way that is so obvious that it makes it almost effortless to finally let go. You will also be shown the new possibilities for nourishing & supportive, balanced & reciprocal relationships, partnerships & collaborations that are being seeded at this time in your life.

Where is the beauty? fun? joy? supportive, helpful, peaceful people? What nourishes your body? mind? soul? spirit? Think in terms of how that has evolved over the last 6-months, 1-year and over the last 8-years for sure. What you used to be magnetized and attracted to has likely evolved, deepened and/or changed completely from 7-10 years ago. It’s time to do some internal reflection on the lessons & blessings you have gained through all your current relationships. No matter how grueling or treacherous they’ve been, you’ve learned something about your Self and humanity and how peace must be nurtured. Now, the Universe, the planets, Mother Earth herself all support you in stepping up and into NEW ways of being your Self, which automatically shifts how you relate with Others, on every level. Many small Circles and Communities have strong roots and are growing amazing things that will feed us all in the end. Find your inner balance, tap into this Spring Season when physical balance is naturally available and call in more balance & reciprocity in your personal & professional relationships. It’s time to allow more good into your life. Practice with more Light this season.

3/20 ~ SPRING Equinox 2019:

Spring Equinox brings the Renewal of Life & Light, Rebirth & Resurrection! There are vital energies & resources that are now more readily available at this time. It’s time to plant seeds and initiate projects that will show promise by Fall Equinox, 6-months from now. Spring brings the first access to literal balance in the new year. Check in with balance, within and around you. We are supported to discover & feel for ourselves, this renewal of Spring. We are coming from a predominantly Internal/Dark/Shadow/Fallow time and returning to an External/Light/Fertile time.

On an Individual level, this is a time to tune-in and honor whatever is stirring within, and positioning for *birth* in the near future. We are living during an incredible convergence of energy & cycles. All is vital, all is necessary, and the time is now ~ as we are deeply supported to seed the intention for Self, as well as Community & Mother Earth.

3/21 ~ Venus (values & priorities) ~square~ Mars (desire & passion):

This is your Inner Sacred Feminine & Masculine pushing out of comfort zone and into new territory. It is time to recalibrate how you give & receive, as well as how you BE versus DO. It helps to know the Signs & Elements to consciously choose how to work with this activation. In this case, it is Venus in Aquarius working it out with Mars in Taurus. These are Fixed Signs, so on one hand change is difficult, however, once you do change, it is likely to be permanent. Even for those of us with no Fixed energy in our charts can benefit from this activation as it will help you anchor something real and release something that has run its course in usefulness. It’s time to tune into how you direct your own power, as well as what you magnetize & repel naturally. Anytime Venus & Mars interact, the energy has to do with your relationships, both personal & professional, private or public. Squares create the necessary tension to catalyze action. As an individual, it is time to grow, change and integrate your own values & priorities (Venus) with your own desires & passion (Mars), however, on another level, it can activate sexual energy as that too is the energy of creation. If you are in a happy, healthy relationship, then it is a great energy for you expressing your love in a physical way. However, if your relationship already has tension (especially in the physical realm), then this can be a difficult energy to deal with and the only real solution is open communication and a willingness to compromise, so good luck!

3/21 ~ Venus (relationships) ~sextile~ Jupiter (optimism):

This energy expands your relationships, personal or professional, allowing you to gain traction in expressing the Highest vibration that’s possible for that connection. In personal relationships, things are sociable, light & fun. In professional or public relationships, things can go more smoothly as folks are more relaxed & easy-going, upbeat & open to exchanging ideas & concepts. This energy activates our innate optimism and natural positive thinking, so it is a good time to look into expanding your knowledge base in some way that makes you more valuable to the team. You will have both the connection to your instincts and confidence with others that is a winning combination!

Jennifer Hoffman: Change, Choice, Control and Priorities

Change, Choice, Control and Priorities

For the last 5 days I had no electricity, as my area was hit by the high winds and heavy rain from hurricane Michael. When the power first went out I waited for a few hours for it to return and went to bed in the dark, thinking it would be on by morning. When it wasn’t, I realized it might be out for a while and I was going to have to change my routine and my life to accommodate this unwelcome, inconvenient, and unwanted change. I did and now that the electricity is back, I realized it was a big lesson in changes, choices, control, and priorities.

It’s funny how you don’t realize how much of your life is run by electricity until it is not working. I had no hot water, no heat or air conditioning, no way to cook, no phone or internet, and no lights. After the sun goes down it is very dark in the house with no artificial light. So I had to get out the candles, flashlights, and lanterns and they provided the light to help me navigate through my house. But I could not do the things I normally do because all of them required electricity.

Changes, especially surprising, unwelcome, and inconvenient ones like having no electricity for several days, demand that we make different choices and change our priorities. Here are some of my thoughts about the shift in priorities and activities with change, and how to stay in control in situations you cannot control.

Is it just me? The first thing I did was to see if my neighbors had electricity, as I wanted to know whether it was just me or if everyone had their lights off. They did, as I discovered after sundown, and every house on my street was dark. When we experience a disruptive change our first thought is to wonder whether it is just happening to us. It is somewhat comforting to know that it is not.

I had to become very strategic about how I spent my time during the day. Some things cannot be done at night, even with candlelight or a flashlight, which lights up a very small space. So I had to plan my activities during the day to make the best use of the daylight hours and save other things for night time.

I went to bed early. There was nothing to do after sundown except read, so I went to bed early and read by flashlight for a while. Now I know why my grandmother used to say they went to bed with the chickens and were up with the roosters in the ‘old days’ before electricity. The weather is getting cooler too, and that was the only warm place in the house.

I had to become very strategic about the use of resources like my phone or computer.  My cell phone was my only way of communicating but as I quickly learned, using it drained the battery and then I had to sit in my car and let it charge (which takes a long time). And my computer battery lasted a few hours and then died.

The third day without electricity I found a library in town whose lights were on so I spent the afternoon there charging my phone and sending a few emails. The library was filled with people who also didn’t have electricity and were there to charge their devices so I met some nice people and had some interesting conversations.

I had to be creative to solve problems. My stove is electric so I could not use it but I have a gas grill outside that uses propane. I used it occasionally this summer but now it became my source to heat water for coffee, tea, and for bathing, and to cook my meals. Luckily it didn’t rain while my power was out but it was cold in the mornings when I went out to heat water for my morning coffee.  And I had to cook my dinner before sundown or I would not be able to see anything.

And to minimize food loss, I cooked what was defrosting in the freezer to not waste too much food. I didn’t go hungry, although it was inconvenient to cook outside.

And I could choose to use cold water for bathing or heat water on the grill and use that. I dislike cold water baths so I chose to heat the water outside and although it was much more complicated than turning on a hot water tap, it reminded me of when I was very young and lived in my grandmother’s ancient house in France and we had no running hot water. My earliest memory of that house was a huge pot of simmering hot water that always sat on the stove, as this was our source of hot water.

I got things done that I had been putting off because I had no spare time.  Without the distractions of the internet, phone, and computer, I had a lot of time to do other things. So I painted my living room and upstairs hall, did some re-organizing, hung pictures on the walls, refinished a table, and completed some other house projects. All during daylight hours, of course. Then I worked on writing and other things on my computer at night, until the battery died.

I saw a lot of stars in the sky.  Since my entire part of town was without electricity there was no light pollution so there were a lot more stars visible at night than normal. I spent some time outside after dark looking at the sky and enjoying the beautiful stars.

There were things I could not control so I had to change my priorities.  I could not control when the electricity would be available again, that the food in my refrigerator was going to spoil if the power did not return soon, that it would be very dark in my house after sundown, that none of my electrical appliances would work, and that I could not follow my normal routine.

Now I knew that life would return to normal once the power was restored but in the meantime, I had to be very strategic about my priorities so I could manage my life around the circumstances that I had to deal with. It would serve no useful purpose to do nothing and wait around for the lights to turn on, or to not get organized for mealtimes so I wasn’t sitting in the dark eating crackers or chips instead of something more substantial and filling. Or to not find a place with electricity so I could charge my phone and computer.

Now that my electricity has returned I am using my modern appliances that make life so convenient with a new sense of appreciation. I do like being able to have a working stove and refrigerator, to turn on the lights after sundown, and to be able to recharge my phone and computer at will.

Sometimes change happens in life and we need to address it by shifting our priorities, making the best use of what we have, not regretting what we don’t have, and to become strategic with our priorities to manage the circumstances. We can’t always be in control of events but we can learn to control our lives even in the midst of situations we cannot control. Getting depressed and being scared are OK in small doses but eventually we have to accept the situation, face the facts, and make choices, and act on them, so our lives continue to move forward until the chaos has gone away and we can establish something more normal, easy, and in our high vibes energy flow.

Kelly M. Beard: Weekly Forecast: October 7 – 13, 2018

Weekly Forecast: October 7 – 13, 2018

10/10 ~ Mercury (thoughts) ~oppose~ Uranus (radical shift):

This energy tends to make your mind work in over-drive. Not that you think too much, but rather you may tend to think, speak and process information faster than usual. However, when you are moving that fast, sometimes you can overlook something vital. The negative expression of this energy tends to make you feel scattered and disorganized, but the positive side of it is making those brilliant connections that are normally just out of reach. Your perception and intuition are picking up so much in such a short period of time that you will want to review the details later to ensure you didn’t overlook something crucial to your development. You may be impatient with same-old/same-old routine but check in with your body to make sure it is not just your monkey mind playing tricks on you. It is a good time to breathe and be flexible because if you are impatient with this energy, you are more likely to make mistakes. Anytime Uranus is involved, radical shifts and ah-ha moments are totally possible on an internal level, however, on an external level you may tend to blurt things our without proper forethought. Be sure to engage your Heart and some kind of filter, especially when communicating with others this week.

10/10 ~ Venus (values & priorities) ~square~ Mars (desire & passion): (2 of 2:  9/8 ~ 10/10)

This is our Inner Sacred Feminine & Masculine pushing out of comfort zone and into new territory. It’s time to recalibrate how you give & receive, as well as how you BE versus DO. It helps to know the Signs + Elements to consciously choose how to work with it. In this case (10/10), Venus is at 10* Scorpio and Mars is at 10* Aquarius, which is Water & Air, feelings & thoughts.  In this case, your individual responsibility or obligation to certain relationships is challenged to grow to a whole new level or come to a natural end. Anytime Venus & Mars interact, the energy has to do with your relationships, both personal & professional, private & public. Squares create the necessary tension to catalyze action. As an individual, it is time to grow, change & integrate your own Venus (values & priorities) with your own Mars (desires & passion), however, on another level it activates sexual energy as that too is the energy of creation. Your desires & inner sacred masculine is finishing its retro-recalibration, meaning who you are and what you want has likely fundamentally changed in the last 2-years. Now that you’ve altered what you want, adjustments must be made to accommodate the new values & priorities that you are about to recalibrate with the current Venus Retro in Scorpio (10/5-11/16). Use this tension to clarify what you are building.

10/11 ~ Sun (illumination) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):

This is a challenge to grow out of your comfort zone and into new territory. That said, with Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024), twice a year for these 16-years, when the Sun is in Aries (Spring) and Libra (Fall), we get an opportunity to grow & change in fundamental departments of life: self vs other and home vs work. In this case, and during these years, we are literally changing how we do ALL of this. Each year builds on the previous and we are now 8-years into the 16-year process of transformation – that is the MidPoint, an incredibly potent point in time & space. It is here that you have the most information to consciously work with as you prepare for the next 8-years, and ultimately, what you would like to get out of your conscious efforts and dedication. Sun helps us clarify and when working with Pluto, it is usually what is NOT working, what has run its course and is ready to be composted into new Life, new growth and a new direction (for Self). Pluto is the Purifyer, distilling things back to their true and original essence, fight that and it can be painful, work with it consciously and it can be transformative and will heal at the deepest root of any challenge. You can use this activation to honor that which has become obvious, or is highlighted in the here & now and purge or purify this energy. You are deeply supported for releasing old patterns and setting new conscious practices into action. Tie up loose ends, close multiple chapters, mourn & move on. As you do that, you will feel lighter & brighter and more grounded in your true Self, your evolved Self.

10/12 ~ Mercury (communication) ~sextile~ Saturn (responsibility):

The Karmic Tools Weekly Forecast covers the current planetary transits which affect people in different ways and to various degrees of intensity. Take notice when it is a Personal planet (Sun / Moon / Mercury / Venus / Mars) interacting with a Social (Jupiter/Saturn) or Collective planet (Uranus / Neptune/Pluto). And pay extremely close attention when it is a Social planet interacting with a Collective planet because that means something *big* is brewing that will move large groups of people along their evolutionary paths. Tuning in to the energy and rhythm of the planets can serve as a useful *guide* as you move along your Individual Path. It also helps to understand your place within the context of the larger Social & Collective Story. Below, you will find out how these energies tend to manifest, as well as guidance and direction.

*NOTE*  There are some days when there are NO CONTACTS (besides the Moon), please note that there are no missing entries, we just list the actual Activations of each week + the day they happen.

DAILY OM ~ Daily Self-Care: Putting Yourself First

Putting yourself first means that it may be necessary to say no to someone else in order to say yes to yourself.

DAILY OM ~ January 31, 2016
Daily Self-Care: Putting Yourself First
by Madisyn Taylor

Putting yourself first means that it may be necessary to say no to someone else in order to say yes to yourself.
We have all heard the instructions of an airline attendant reminding us to put on our own oxygen mask before we help anyone else with theirs. This advice is often cited as a metaphor for self-care because it so accurately expresses why it is important. It seems to say, ironically, that if you can’t take care of yourself for yourself, do it for others. Few situations in our daily lives mimic the wake-up call of an airplane emergency, so it’s easy to keep putting self-care off—easy, that is, until we get sick, overwhelmed, or exhausted, and suddenly don’t have the energy to care for the people who count on us. That’s when we realize we haven’t been getting the oxygen we need to sustain ourselves. We begin to understand that taking care of ourselves is neither selfish nor indulgent; it’s just plain practical.

Putting yourself first means that it may be necessary to say no to someone else in order to say yes to yourself. For many of us, there is always something we feel we could be doing for someone else, and it helps to remember the oxygen metaphor. You can even encourage yourself by saying “I am caring for myself so that I am better able to care for others” or some other mantra that will encourage you. It also helps to remember that self-care doesn’t have to be composed of massively time-consuming acts. In fact, the best prescription for taking care of yourself is probably small, daily rituals; for example, taking one half-hour for yourself at the beginning and end of the day to meditate, journal, or just be. You might also transform the occasional daily shower or bath into a half-hour self-pampering session.

Whatever you decide, making some small gesture where you put yourself first every day will pay off in spades for you and the ones you love. The oxygen you need is all around you; sometimes you just need to be reminded to breathe.

Where are the results of my inner changes?

So often when we make inner changes we want to see the outer results fairly quickly. So when we don’t see change we get frustrated, upset and angry, which can take us right back where we started! When our mind and emotions are in a constant battle with our physical reality, it sets up a two steps forward and one or two steps back groove.

Here’s a tip if you are looking at some aspect of your life that you have wanted to change and are doing all the ‘right’ things but it’s yet to shift: Think of this aspect as simply being a result of your many yesterday’s. Kind of like a cake you baked a few days ago when you happened to be craving a certain flavour, but that flavour just isn’t doing it for you anymore. It doesn’t reflect who you are right now.

Realise that right now you have shifted….great…and a new cake is in the oven. You shifted the second you realised you want a whole new cake and set about planning or getting the ingredients for that new cake. Stop thinking about the old cake, or staring at it berating yourself for why you spent time making such a thing. Think about the new cake. Breathe it in. Think about how it will feel to have this new cake ready. Soon it will come out of the oven, represented by physical changes in your physical life and circumstances.

You have the power and ability to start to feel this change right now emotionally and mentally if you allow it, and actually you can insist upon feeling and visualising your new circumstances. Mantra tip: “That was yesterday, I am now moving into a new today and fabulous tomorrow’s.”

Ask to see physical evidence of inner change, and let go of how/in what form that evidence may show itself to you.

If you are feeling heavy it is often because you are being dragged down by thoughts and feelings that belong in the past – or are worrying and fearing about an unknown future. We all do this, it is our old human conditioning to do this. But we don’t have to keep doing it. We can catch ourselves in the act and think hang on, this isn’t actually helping me!

Find the thoughts, feelings and visual images that feel light, fantastic and fabulous – they are usually the ones most in alignment with the direction your Soul truly wants to go in. x

Earth Changes: Cleansing and Gratitude trump Fear
by Dana Mrkich | Evolution Revolution

Two themes are emerging in almost every conversation I’ve had or overheard in the aftermath of this week’s Sydney/Central Coast/Hunter storms: Cleansing and Gratitude. People are saying they feel as if a big cleansing has happened, and how grateful they felt this week for any small thing: some warmth, candlelight, a hot shower at a friend’s house.

Over the years people have often written expressing concern about potential Earth Changes events. What I’ve written about that topic in the past is that our fear of a future event is usually vastly different to the reality.

Our fear imagines something with the worst possible most scary scenario where we feel totally helpless and powerless. Yet history alone shows us that humans are resilient. Whatever comes our way we deal with it as it happens – sometimes it may feel like you are in a surreal bubble, not quite realising what has happened until it has happened. Our energy has a way of protecting us during the reality of something, that our projected fears have no way of doing.

Our fear lens doesn’t show us all the positive things that are happening simultaneously during extreme events, weather or otherwise. It doesn’t show the support that shows up right when we need it. The peacefulness and calm that arises in both you and others. The normalcy of day to day life that continues right along side the chaos.

We are on a living planet and while the jury is still out regarding which global weather event is natural vs which has been influenced and even created by humans, the fact remains we are on a living planet. She moves, she breathes. She shakes, she quakes. She storms and floods. She burns and erupts. She doesn’t really care that we have power lines or jobs to go to. Not her problem. She shifts, she transforms, she purifies, she sheds, she cleanses. That’s what Earth has done for billions of years and will continue to do.

I think it is a good and healthy thing for us to be reminded that we live on a living planet. If it makes us more grateful, more appreciative, more humble, more patient, more inclined to take care of our planet, our selves and each other, then things like Earth Changes events are ultimately a positive thing. I think it is good to be reminded that life isn’t guaranteed or forever. It makes you stop and think: am I living life in the way I want to be living it? It makes you reflect on your priorities. None of this dismisses the devastation that occurs….rather, we can honour that devastation by emerging with some new insight or wisdom gained.

Sending prayers to all who need them tonight x
