157.🌺New Moon in potent Taurus🌷🐝🌹 Jupiter cannon balls into Pisces to expand our 🍀good fortune with a splash.🌊

May 11, 2021

The New Moon in Taurus is potent for planting the seeds of your happiest future. Taurus keeps us tuned into the Earth energy. Our senses are heightened. The simple things being joy and sustenance.

The New Moon has a lovely energizing sextile between get moving Mars and revolutionary Uranus. It is a great time to begin new things. The choices you make now are powerful so be sure to get still and clear about what you want and need to be truly happy.

Uranus is here to shake things up. To bust apart the old and outworn. New thoughts, ideas, people, opportunities and situations are appearing faster than usual. The old ways are gone and the new timelines are filled with the electric buzz of pure potential. This is invigorating.

A sextile with Neptune gives us the opportunity for higher wisdom and creativity. We are all exquisitely sensitive now.  Protect your energy. Send Love.

The Taurus energy is a great time to tap into what makes you feel secure and content. Surround yourself with simple little luxuries.  Connect to nature. Spend time sensing the energy around you.  Eat delicious food. Wear cozy fabrics. Look at beautiful things that nature grew. Grounding is great for your health and happiness.

Jupiter will be going into Pisces on the 13th. Expand your magic. Tap into your Creativity. Be your higher self.  The realm of Pisces can not be accessed in a linear Way. The magic comes through when you surrender to the flow.  May 13th Jupiter moves into Pisces until the end of July. This will give us a clue as to what wonderful things we will bring in when it moves into Pisces for good later this year. We can all expand in wonderful ways. Health, Wealth, Love and Creativity. Think of a big, utopian ideal scenario. Big ideas yield big results.

There are trines all week that offer us good luck. The Sun will trine Pluto on the 17th. Great for understanding what holds us back. We can dive deep and call back all the parts of us that We left behind in worry or fear. We can step into power.

Venus will connect to Saturn on the 19th. We have the discipline we need to recognize what Is valuable.

How we spend our time will be important this is the last  week of sun in Taurus. The Sun enters Gemini next week on the 20th . This will be much faster paced energy. Get the details sorted. We are coming up on Mercury retrograde on the 29th so any work we do to catch up on what we let slide will pay big dividends when Mercury moves for review in a few weeks.

May is a month of big changes. The full moon on the 26th marks the eclipse season. Eclipses usher In the new and move out the old. It’s good to think ahead. What will you call in? What do you need to let go of?

During these fast moving times be sure to keep centered in your very own energy. Only you know what is best for you.  Wishing you much earthy support for this most potent new moon.

May we plant our seeds in Loving soil.

APRIL 2021 Tarot Card Reading for All Zodiac Signs During Aries/Taurus Season!

Aries Season (April 2021) and on into Taurus Season – definitely won’t go without a hitch! There’s gonna be some stuff, for sure! We have the Sun coming into a square with Pluto over in Capricorn near the end of Aries season (middle of April) and as he makes his way into Taurus, he will connect with Uranus at the beginning of Taurus Season – there will be some things said, some things done, but it’s not to dwell on them. We get to move on – we get to grow, we get to learn and we get to release.

Mercury will enter into Aries on April 3rd, and the building up of his conjunction with Chiron will most definitely yield some sharp, fiery words – projections, mostly. But Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius are helping us to understand and learn about our boundaries, specifically so we can push past them – so we can evolve, change, and ultimately become radically different people, inside and out.

Mars makes his way into Cancer very late in April, softening his impact. He broke the Kala Sarpa Yoga we’d been experiencing on and off since last year so we can be exceptionally grateful for his pulling us back to a much more balances and less tumultuous place. We will see that in our own personal lives as well as our society in general.

Thank you all so much! I cannot extend enough gratitude for all of you!

Your weekly guide to planetary influences
July 27 to August 2, 2020

Aspects of Note This Week

All times listed are Pacific Daylight Time. For Greenwich Mean Time, add 7 hours.
MON: Jupiter sextile Neptune, Venus quincunx Jupiter, Venus square Neptune, Mercury square Mars, Sun sesquiquadrate Neptune
TUE: Mercury opposite Pallas Athene, Mars square Pallas Athene
THU: Mercury opposite Jupiter, Mercury trine Neptune, Venus quincunx Pluto
FRI: Sun semisquare Venus, Sun trine Chiron
SAT: Mercury opposite Pluto, Mercury square Eris
SUN: Sun square Uranus, Venus semisquare Uranus

IT’S ANOTHER very active week astrologically, with more than a few twists and turns in the road. But we begin the week with a lovely Jupiter-Neptune sextile on Monday that can provide some moments of peace amidst the turmoil, helping us focus our attention on the stillpoint within.

Jupiter and Neptune both have a connection with the sign of Pisces; before Neptune was discovered in 1846, astrologers gave Jupiter rulership of the twelfth sign. Jupiter is now known as the ancient ruler of the sign, and Neptune is the modern ruler. As such, the two planets have an affinity with each other, and work together well when given the opportunity.

JUPITER represents our capacity to seek meaning, to believe in something greater than ourselves, and to risk the unknown and unfamiliar. Neptune symbolizes our ability to transcend duality, to rise above mundane perspectives, and to experience the Oneness of creation. In action, Jupiter magnifies, while Neptune sensitizes. As they link together, we can make significant progress on our spiritual path or in a creative endeavor, and our life philosophy can become more compassionate and heart-centered.

The influence of the Jupiter-Neptune sextile is our companion throughout 2020, with the aspect being exact to the degree on February 20, July 27, and October 14. As these two Piscean rulers collaborate on our behalf, we have the opportunity to access greater inspiration and creativity, and to experience the grace of Divine intervention, if we set our intention for these. A sextile aspect such as this indicates an unlocked door with great potentials on the other side – but, as agents of free will, we must choose both to open that door and to walk through it.

BACK ON THE FARM, the dramas continue to unfold over the week ahead. Most of the challenging aspects involve the planet Mercury; this means that on a personal level, our mental state and our ability to convey and receive information are affected. But, there is much playing out on the physical stage as well, with both Mars and Eris being activated, and in relationships, with Venus also caught in the tangle.

Here’s the play-by-play of the highlights (and lowlights):

On Monday:
  • Mercury square Mars: Irritations, angry words, feelings easily hurt, defensiveness. Be aware of a tendency to react rather than respond.
  • Venus square Neptune: Disillusionment in relationships, lack of clarity, tendency to play rescuer or victim. Also possible financial uncertainty or impracticality. Be aware of a tendency to see only what you want to see in a loved one or in your bank balance.
On Tuesday:
  • Mercury opposite Pallas Athene, and Mars square Pallas Athene: Impatience interferes with our abilities to reason, to speak clearly, and to truly listen to what another person has to say. Battles between the individual and the system. Be aware of a tendency to resist an idea simply based on who proposed it. Take your time in all communications. Breathe.
On Thursday:
  • Mercury opposite Jupiter and trine Neptune: One of the blessings of the week! Our conscious mind (Mercury) is more able to access the energies of the Jupiter-Neptune sextile today. Give yourself the gift of time spent in meditation or a creative project, and be open for insights.
  • Venus quincunx Pluto: A need for an attitude adjustment, especially in regard to relationships. Be aware of ways in which you or others try to manipulate or coerce friends and loved ones. Understand that it is impossible to “make” someone see your point of view. Accept others for who they are, and appreciate the passion behind their words, even if you don’t agree with the words themselves.
On Friday:
  • Sun semisquare Venus and trine Chiron: Once we overcome the obstacle of needing appreciation and approval from others, we can access the healing energies today. The benefits include a boost in self-confidence and renewed fulfillment through personal creativity and self-expression.
On Saturday:
  • Mercury opposite Pluto and square Eris: This is a tough one. People are very passionate and defensive, and may not be thinking clearly.  It’s hard not to feel the tension and anger in mass consciousness now, even if we choose not to dwell in the news cycle. Do your best to release what is not yours. Utilize these energies in a positive way, to make important shifts in your own life as needed, and to discover your deeper truth. Try saying this affirmation, provided by Peggy Black and her ‘team’: “All energy that does not belong to me, I send it back blessed and transformed. All energy I’ve sent forth, I call it back blessed and transformed.”
On Sunday:
  • Sun square Uranus, Venus semisquare Uranus: A day of surprises, on many levels. The rebel within us is strong, and refuses to follow the rules or to be contained or restricted. This is not a good day to try to mend bridges, but rather one in which to perceive what new directions your life is guiding you to take. Ask the restlessness within you to help you see what you are ready to do next. But, also be aware that reactivity is strong today, and do your best to use reason in all decisions.
As you can see, we have our work cut out for us if we want to stay in balance this week! All the more reason to imagine walking through that Jupiter-Neptune door, and to ask for help in maintaining a higher perspective and an open heart in all circumstances.

LAST CHANCE! You can still purchase the video replay, monthly calendars, and slideshow for my “Transmutations & Rebirth” webinar! The class covered the last six months of 2020, including the all-important Jupiter-Saturn alignment in Aquarius in December. To learn more, please send an email with “Webinar Replay” in the subject line to, and I’ll reply with next steps.
IF YOUR BIRTHDAY IS THIS WEEK: This year of uncertainty is an especially powerful one for you, dear Leo. You are experiencing deep changes in your self-concept, and in how you approach a certain area of your life experience. In this area, you will be feeling very restless and even irritable, and quite impatient with circumstances that are not to your liking. It may be time for some major changes, if you find that you have been basing your choices on whether others will approve of you. There’s a strong “I’ve got to be me” vibe about your personal new year. It will teach you a lot about who you really are, while challenging you to live even more authentically. (Solar Return Sun semisquare Venus, trine Chiron, square Uranus)

The big news for the beginning of this week is the 2nd conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto. So far what we’ve experienced with Jupiter and Pluto this year is glaringly apparent. It’s the destruction the pandemic has stirred up, it’s upheaval in the fabric of our society, the awareness around the (our) deep-seated power struggles and fears.
The breakdown and trust for systems we thought we could count on in emergencies, we are so aware of some of the truths and more will be revealed as the year goes on. This and more has been the collective experience for many but not all.

If you know me even a little you know I want to shift gears and talk about the positive things we can gain from this. Both planets are retrograde during this conjunction and we have an ……….. read more at…

Your weekly guide to planetary influences

June 15 to 21, 2020

Aspects of Note This Week
All times listed are Pacific Daylight Time. For Greenwich Mean Time, add 7 hours.
TUE: Sun quincunx Jupiter
WED: Mercury goes retrograde
THU: Mars sextile Pluto, Mars semisquare Uranus
FRI: Sun conjunct North Node
SAT: Mars sextile Jupiter, Sun enters Cancer (Solstice), Solar Eclipse/New Moon 11:41 p.m. PDT
SUN: Sun quincunx Saturn

AS WE JOURNEY through 2020, it seems that every week brings a deepening of the process of transmutation. Everywhere we look, the systems and structures that we once relied upon for stability are in disarray, and even chaos.

The old forms that are falling apart were created from blueprints that are of a lower vibration. For humanity to evolve – and perhaps even for us to survive – we must create new blueprints that are drawn from the higher frequencies, and then we will need to use those blueprints to create the new forms. We have much work ahead of us, work that will begin in earnest with the Jupiter-Saturn alignment in Aquarius in December.

But, we are primarily at the dismantling phase right now, which can raise a lot of uncomfortable emotions. And yet, it is the depth of the feelings that are being raised that is opening the space for the change that must occur.

HUMANS are a unique species in that we are able to feel so deeply. Many times, we might wish it were not so! We wish we could experience the ups and downs and not feel such extremes of emotion (or at least, not the lows). But our wide emotional range is part of living in this dualistic reality. Not all species have our ability to soar both so high and so low, and other dimensions do not necessarily have the great contrasts that we experience.

It is said that the height of love and compassion we can know is equal to the depth of grief that we can feel. That’s why it is up to each of us to understand, accept, and then release the darker, denser emotions, and then to move into a higher vibrational response. When we take the spiritual responsibility to do this, we not only elevate humanity, we also benefit the entire universe.

THE PRESENT UPHEAVAL is – not surprisingly, for those of us who live and breathe astrology – reflected in the current motions of the planets. I wrote last week about the Pluto-Eris square that perfects today, June 14, and how this aspect is connected with the COVID-19 crisis and the need for humanity to see the results of actions taken selfishly, without considering longer-term outcomes, and without concern for nature and all forms of life.

Pluto-Eris can also be seen in the increased urgency to correct other forms of injustice – those perpetrated by a hierarchical society that disrespects certain members of its population. Many of the reactions that are triggered right now arise from the anger and resentment developed over centuries of unfair treatment. Both Pluto and Eris are known to bring such feelings to the surface.

We are dealing with a very contentious influence as these two dwarf planets push against each other, and yet we can see higher purposes for this energy to be coming forward now. Humanity needs course corrections in so many areas of its expression. As a society, we’ve mostly ignored earlier, more subtle wake-up messages from the universe. The compounded planetary events strewn throughout 2020 are designed to do far more than just nudge us.

MERCURY begins a new retrograde period this week, coming to a standstill and starting to move backward at 9:58 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, June 17. While it might seem that lately we’ve been doing little else besides going inward and reflecting, whenever Mercury goes retrograde, it encourages us to do just that.

Mercury has been in Cancer since May 28. Although emotions were certainly already tender by that date, Mercury in Cancer indicates a time when our thoughts and communications are especially colored by our feelings. And, while we always want to take our feelings into account when making decisions, we should note that during Mercury retrograde, we may not think as objectively or clearly as we usually do.

But, this retrograde Mercury in Cancer period, through July 12, is perfect for delving into history, for deepening our understanding of our personal and shared past. We can use it constructively in meditation, to help us understand our motivations, and to locate and release emotional or mental patterning that is of a lower vibration. We can also use the heightened sensitivity of Mercury retrograde in Cancer to enable us to relate to and empathize more fully with others.

NEXT SUNDAY, we have the potent combination of the Solstice and a Solar Eclipse occurring almost simultaneously. The Sun enters Cancer (the moment of the Solstice) at 2:43 p.m. PDT on Saturday, June 20. The eclipse perfects just 9 hours later, at 11:41 p.m. PDT.

A Solstice sets themes for the coming season, giving us clues as to how the next three months will unfold. Having an eclipse at the Solstice is a powerful sign of deep transformations occurring now through September.

This is also a North Node eclipse, with the Sun and Moon (00°21′ Cancer) within two degrees of the North Node (29°07′ Gemini). A North Node eclipse indicates a major push on humanity to resolve old karmas and take its next steps into a more evolved future.

HAVING the eclipse in Cancer conjunct the Gemini North Node puts an interesting twist on the event, since we need to combine the themes of both signs in our interpretation. Cancer is devoted to home, to family, and to emotional security. It rules the nurturing/protective principle, which can turn into aggressiveness if the mama bear feels her babies are threatened. Cancer also rules the past, our ancestors, and historical influences.

Gemini disseminates information. It tells stories and reveals truth. It is the sign of both the teacher and the student. With the North Node in Gemini and the South Node in Sagittarius, our next step of evolution depends on our ability to move from judgment, self-righteousness, and dogmatism to acceptance, tolerance, and impartiality; from racism, discrimination, and partisanism to thoughtful and open-minded consideration of others’ perspectives; and from gullibility and fanaticism to rational, impartial questioning.

We could imagine that with these two signs linked through the eclipse, stories from the past could come forward to inform us, to inspire us to create new futures that are in alignment with those higher qualities of the Gemini North Node. This is, after all, a New Moon eclipse, which indicates an opportunity for a major new beginning.

THIS SOLAR ECLIPSE, occurring in the first degree of a cardinal sign, also activates what astrologers call the “Aries Point.” When a planetary event triggers the Aries Point, it tends to coincide with actions that have far-reaching effect. These events may happen around the time of the eclipse itself, or within the next six months, which is often the time frame during which we see the greatest impact of an eclipse.

Next Sunday’s Solar Eclipse, and the Lunar Eclipse on July 4-5 (which is conjunct the Sun of the U.S. chart), are repeats of eclipses that occurred 19 and 38 years ago. The Lunar Eclipse also repeated 57 years ago. As we review those time frames – July through December of 2001, 1982, and 1963 – we can certainly recall significant events that affected many people, and even changed the course of history.

I’VE BEEN BUSY working on the slideshow and calendars for my “Transmutations & Rebirth” webinar on June 25 – and am eager to share it all with you! The class will cover the last six months of 2020, which promise to be just as life-changing as the first six months have been.

WE ARE ENTERING the final phase of an incredibly transformational two-year journey that began in early 2019. As promised, the first half of 2020 has been exceptionally powerful, driven by the Saturn-Pluto alignment in January. These energies were then magnified in March-April as Jupiter and Pluto aligned.

The end of June promises to be yet another significant time, with a dynamic Solar Eclipse on the Solstice (June 21) and the second Jupiter-Pluto conjunction on June 29. With so much going on during the last 10 days of June, it’s the perfect time to explore the meanings of all we are experiencing, and to take a look ahead.

To start this webinar, we’ll talk a bit about current energies to get our bearings and to set the stage for what comes next. We’ll then dive into what the planets reveal about the remainder of 2020. Here are just some of the transition points that we’ll explore in depth:

  • The Lunar Eclipse on July 4-5, the third in a trio of eclipses this year, and especially powerful for those who live in the U.S.
  • Opportunities for spiritual and creative expansion when Jupiter sextiles Neptune on July 27 and October 12
  • Surprises, breakthroughs, and breakdowns in early August
  • August through October, a repeat of the energies we worked with in February and March 2020
  • On August 29 and November 7, Pluto reactivates the degree and the effects of January’s Saturn-Pluto alignment
  • Fireworks in early October as Mars conjoins feisty Eris and squares Pluto
  • A pivotal New Moon and shake-up mid October
  • An exceedingly potent time of transformation and revelation early November, as Jupiter, Pallas Athene, and Pluto all align
  • A Lunar Eclipse in late November followed by a Total Solar Eclipse in December
  • A very eventful Solstice week in December, as the long-awaited Jupiter-Saturn alignment in Aquarius occurs on the 21st, followed by Mars conjunct Eris on the 22nd and Mars square Pluto on the 23rd

I hope you can join us for this webinar! And, if you can’t attend live on the day of the event, no worries – the webinar will be recorded. The replay link will be sent to all registrants.

In the coming year, you will find the desire to be of service deepening within you. In order to accommodate that desire in a healthy way, you will likely need to figure out how to maintain your boundaries, so that you do not fall into self-sacrifice. Your challenge is to follow your heart’s calling to assist those in need, without believing that you can rescue them, or must martyr yourself in the process. Also, let go of the judgment that you should or could be doing it “better.” For those whose solar returns occur near the Solar Eclipse (on June 19, 20, or 21), this is an especially powerful year to make a new start, based in a more complete understanding of your truth and of your core needs for fulfillment in life.
