Jenny Schiltz: Grandmother’s Story of the Bear

Grandmother’s Story of the Bear

Grandmother’s Story of the Bear

at: 4th Jul 2017
under: Energy Update, My perspective, Shamanism

I have been feeling the urge to do a long shamanic journey and found the perfect opportunity to do so this morning. I wanted to share with you what I learned.

As I settled into the hypnotic drum beat, I found myself on a familiar road walking towards an area where I knew I would find the one I call grandmother. As I came upon her fire circle I saw that there were little ones sitting around, they looked to be 4 to 6 years of age and they were settling down to hear a story.

The grandmother asked me to join them as the story was important for me too. She went on to tell about a large grizzly bear who was gifted with the ability to know when the seasons would change, what the weather would be, where the herds had migrated and when there was imbalance in their world and how to fix it.  This bear would meet with the village Wise Man and share what he had learned and it helped the village be abundant and joyous. Everyone praised the wise one for the ability to speak with the bear, but he knew that it was the bear that had done the amazing thing, as the bear had moved out of his comfort zone. Though the bear was doing great work and helping many, the other bears shunned him, judged him and did not understand. The Wise One knew that for the bear to continue sharing his knowledge was an act of love.

The grandmother went on to say how each person has their own gift, their own ability that should be honored and not compared against another. This little boy pipes up and shows us how his tongue can move in so many different ways. The grandmother smiled and said “You will use that to communicate with many and bring honor to your people” The little boy was beaming with pride. Then this little girl next to me twists her body into a position that would make any yogi proud and says “I can do this, but when I do, my sister’s make fun of me” as she looked down, you could see that she was expecting to be told she was strange. Instead the grandmother says “That is a beautiful gift, flexibility will serve you well in all areas of your life, stay bendable, never rigid and hard. Do not allow another who does not have your abilities to make you feel bad. For you are just as special as are they in the eyes of the creator.”

Not long after this she dismisses the children and we begin to walk in a field of flowers. She asks what is on my mind, why do I feel so troubled. I told her how I had been seeing in multiple groups and posts about how it is wrong for people to charge for spiritual services. It has left me frustrated, frustrated by the judgement I feel from the ones that believe this and frustrated for the healers, shamans and guides that buy into it and give all of themselves away, creating deep lack, even physical sickness.  She looks at me and says “Do you not think the bear was given meat, berries and treats? The Wise One knew that to not have an equal exchange would bring dishonor onto himself, his village, and the bear.”

She continued “It use to be that your shamans, healers, wise men and woman were well cared for by the people. All they had was provided for by the ones they served. It was an honor for the shaman to eat the food, wear the furs hunted, and to live in a home fashioned by the people. Today your society, does not provide for its sages yet begrudges them when they provide for themselves. It has created quite an imbalance.”

I agreed and asked “what about energy exchanges?” She answered by saying  “These can be beautiful and wonderful. However, until humans are able to turn energy into something tangible, money will always be part of your world. To learn this alchemy is possible but how does one eat while learning?” she said smiling.

I asked her when she thought a time was coming when humans would no longer need money her response was “When humans learn to not hate money, nor begrudge the exchange, but instead give and receive in gratitude.” She went onto explain that due to our belief systems we are not in the flow of giving and receiving. In the flow where money is simply a tool. That instead we have constructed many false thoughts and constructs that keep us out of this flow and it is in this flow where all potential resides.

She looked at me and said – “Be the bear, do not worry what others think or do, for you know your gifts.” She grabbed both my hands, turning me to her and says “What a shame it would be for the bear to not have shared his knowing because he allowed the other bears to make him feel bad, unworthy or selfish.”

I thanked her again for her wisdom and allowing me to partake in the sharing of the story. It was a treat to see those young children, as I saw myself in each one.

It is with this understanding that I say to you now: BE THE BEAR.

However, that looks for you is perfect. Be the bear. Allow your gifts and talents to shine through. Don’t allow yourself or others to discount them, put them in a box, or make you feel less them for them. When you share your gifts, be open to receive in return, as that is the natural order of things. For what a shame it would be for you to hide your gifts, your talents, your light too.

I don’t think there is any coincidences that this message came through on my country’s “Independence Day”. As we all work to gain independence from belief systems, judgement and lack.

Sending you all lots of love,

Jenny

New Energies and Contact being made from Venus by Jenny Schiltz

New Energies and Contact being made from Venus by Jenny Schiltz

This really is an exciting time, Ascension is in full swing. The energies are increasing to levels we have never experienced before. We are now receiving energy being sent directly to us from Venus. This energy is pure love and it is helping us to see even more clearly all the areas in our personal and collective world that do not resonate with this frequency. Once we see it we can than heal it and change it.

A being from Venus began contact with me on 12/23 in the dream state. The being that came to me had symbols on his burgundy robes that glowed. I tried to access them outside of dream state but was unable just yet. It seems that we must go through a calibration period so that we can accept and understand the frequencies being given.

On Christmas Day my little one was drawing with her new water-color pens and she shows me a picture she completed. She said that it was for me and immediately I noticed the symbols and they matched what I saw in the dreams. She requested that I put them on facebook because she said my friends needed to see them. I questioned her on how she knew to draw these symbols and she told me she just knew she had too. I have posted the symbols here:

My next experience with this being came in meditation. This is where he explained that he is from Venus and is considered part of the Angelic Realm, just from “a different house” then we have accessed before. He told me I could call him Lord Tolin. He explained that he and his grouping are now able to access earth and give assistance in the ascension process.

Below please find a brief video that gives a greater explanation and suggestions on how to make contact with this group. I hope that all of you are well and are finding peace and balance in the energies.  Thank you to all who share this work, it does mean the world.

Jenny❤

IMHO – #ThankYouObama

It meant a lot to me to have an intelligent, articulate, thoughtful Constitutional Law Professor as our POTUS  for 8 years. He actually accomplished a lot, despite obstructionists and haters. I am sure he was made to do things that weighed heavy on his mind, make hard choices under threat of the Cabal, follow through with unpopular decisions that made him appear to be something other than the kind, Enlightened Visionary he is. More and more of us are seeing through that game.

Some day the Truth will be told, and a great healing will take place. Meanwhile, I will always remember his warmth, his sense of humor, his enduring strength in the face of  adversity, and his ability to rise above it all. #SoLongPresidentObama

Good tidings spiritual warrior!!

Do you know how beautiful you are?
I think not my dear…

But I can feel your courage right here in the sweetspot as you step into your power thousands of miles away
I can hear your mighty voice expressing your tender heart with divine whispers that ripple into every soul along the way
I know the pain you cradle just beneath the surface
And the sweet, salty tears you hide in the corners of your eyes
Waiting to be released

Let’s hold each others hands
Gaze into each others eyes
And each of us own the sadness we’ve inspired
Apologize to each other for the hearts we’ve broken
Wrong words we’ve spoken
The mindless fights – the Silent nights
The wasted time when time’s so short
The cold shoulders, tongues held, lips bitten, teeth clenched
for nothing that ever really mattered then or ever… really
Forgive each other right now

I say, “I’m…”
You say, “sorry”
I say, “I…”
You say, “love you”

Here we are in this sacred, precious, present moment
What else is there to do but
Kiss & makeup
Surrender & love

And commit to making better choices
Pledge to making Higher choices
More loving choices…

Let’s open our hearts to LOVE
Drop your guard
And let love in
Let kindness in
Let compassion in
Let forgiveness in
Let one person into your heart
Who you have been blocking all this time
Spending all that energy resisting
When you could be loving just a bit more

Let one person in
Who you’ve tried to teach a lesson to…
Let them in…
Let them learn the lesson of love and forgiveness
Instead of you being right

Let one person in
Who’s done you wrong
See how wide
Your understanding of the divine truly is
There’s room in your heart for your own reflection

Let one person in
Who’s been knocking for ages
Trying so hard
To turn your head
Let them into their own heart
Through the doorway to yours

Let’s open our hearts to LOVE
Drop your guard
And let love in
Let kindness in
Let compassion in
Let forgiveness in

I’ll let you in mine.
Will you
Let me in yours?
I’ll love you unconditionally
I’ll forgive you unconditionally
Let me shower you with sweet metta

In case you need a reminder of the power of your ripple
Listen to my heart whispering your magnificence
In the sweetness of the breeze
Feel my gratitude rain down upon you in every snowflake that visits your neighborhood

Are you willing to trust
That the universe will deliver you to exactly where you need to be?
Are you ready to trust
That your heart never lies
Are you ready to raise yourself up
Let the universe kiss your soul
Are you open to love again and be free?

Then celebrate love today
With me
Right now today
With me
Let’s merge our hearts right now
The best is yet to come.

A Solstice Update from STANDING ROCK | Unify

Unify standingrock@unify.org via aweber.com

7:29 PM (22 hours ago)
to me

Wishing you a blessed Solstice from Standing Rock!

We are still standing strong in our prayer at Standing Rock. While the winter has laid a blanket upon the sacred lands of the Standing Rock Sioux Nation and many Water Protectors have returned home to reunite with family for the holidays, a beautiful unification is occurring with those who remain to protect our water and to
inspire the world to join this prayer.

This month at Standing Rock, we experienced the true power of prayer and what is possible when all colors of humanity choose to replace fear with love and join together in prayer. On Sunday, December 4th, Unify, UPLIFT, and our many partners in ‘Pray with Standing Rock’ were able to support Standing Rock in the facilitation of a global synchronized prayer, led by Chief Arvol Looking Horse, with interfaith and spiritual leaders from around the world. During this prayer ,as thousands joined hands encircling Oceti Shakowin Camp, the announcement was delivered that the permit to continue the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline was denied until an Environmental Impact Statement was completed. The prayer erupted into celebration and we are filled with gratitude for all of you in our beautiful community that joined us from around the world in this prayer.

MORE INFORMATION ON HOW YOU CAN HELP:
DOWNLOAD THE SONG ‘THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING’
from the Pray with Standing Rock video
https://praywithstandingrock.bandcamp.com/track/the-whole-world-is-watching

All of the proceeds donated for this track go to The Protectors Alliance
project to build and maintain compost toilets at the Oceti Sakowin Camp.

IT’S NOT OVER! A NEW FIRE HAS BEEN LIT

The day after the prayer, we witnessed thousands of Veterans coming to Standing Rock to ask for forgiveness from our indigenous peoples and pledge to stand for our water, our earth and to shield the Water Protectors in prayer. Follwing that powerful weekend, with the arrival of an intense winter storm, the Standing Rock Souix Tribe asked that those not prepared to stand strong though the
freezing temperatures return home.

For the Indigenous leaders and Water Protectors that remain a new camp has formed and a new fire has been lit, called Oceti Oyate, “All People’s Fire.” While the camp winterizes, we are listening deeply for ways we continue to support the needs on the ground and we are inspired to support the emergence of the Indigenous Youth leading this prayer forward and calling on the world to join this movement and defund DAPL to stop this black snake.

The Indigenous Youth have organized actions around the country for people to stop supporting the banks who are funding DAPL. We want to support the youth in brining the Indigenous Leaders from around the world together with advocates, actors, musicians, spiritual activists, environmental organizations, scientists, educators and prayerful people all coming forward wanting to support Standing Rock by organizing a global synchronized prayer action on January 21st. This prayer will be broadcast live from Standing Rock with our global community joining thousands around the country as they take this prayer to the banks and ask that they choose Water over Oil and invest in the future  of our Planet.

On this day of Winter Solstice, December 21st, 2016 we ask that you embrace the light and in your prayer and join us as we move forward empowering the world to choose water and celebrate life. Winter Solstice is a time when nature itself is inviting us to really accept ourselves, so we can grow and cleanse and prepare for personal growth and we are so thankful to grow this prayer with you.

Army will not grant easement for Dakota Access Pipeline crossing

Army POC: Moira Kelley (703) 614-3992, moira.l.kelley.civ@mail.mil

The Department of the Army will not approve an easement that would allow the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline to cross under Lake Oahe in North Dakota, the Army’s Assistant Secretary for Civil Works announced today.

Jo-Ellen Darcy said she based her decision on a need to explore alternate routes for the Dakota Access Pipeline crossing. Her office had announced on November 14, 2016 that it was delaying the decision on the easement to allow for discussions with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, whose reservation lies 0.5 miles south of the proposed crossing. Tribal officials have expressed repeated concerns over the risk that a pipeline rupture or spill could pose to its water supply and treaty rights.

“Although we have had continuing discussion and exchanges of new information with the Standing Rock Sioux and Dakota Access, it’s clear that there’s more work to do,” Darcy said. “The best way to complete that work responsibly and expeditiously is to explore alternate routes for the pipeline crossing.”

Darcy said that the consideration of alternative routes would be best accomplished through an Environmental Impact Statement with full public input and analysis.

The Dakota Access Pipeline is an approximately 1,172 mile pipeline that would connect the Bakken and Three Forks oil production areas in North Dakota to an existing crude oil terminal near Pakota, Illinois. The pipeline is 30 inches in diameter and is projected to transport approximately 470,000 barrels of oil per day, with a capacity as high as 570,000 barrels. The current proposed pipeline route would cross Lake Oahe, an Army Corps of Engineers project on the Missouri River.

You held rallies, prayed, and sent donations and words of encouragement. This is your victory too. Together, we can do anything.

Thank you, . You remembered us after all.

Gratitude, Flow and a Water Prayer by Laura Bruno

Gratitude, Flow and a Water Prayer

In these days leading up to Thanksgiving, I just want to take a few moments to express gratitude for my amazing readers, clients, friends and family who engage with me in life, sessions and through this blog. I lead a truly blessed life that at the end of a back-to-back session day, I feel so privileged to know so many incredibly sensitive, powerful, magical, loving and astute people out there.

Thank you from the depths of my overflowing heart for being here now.

Thank you for showing up, and thank you for putting your own love and energy back into the world, even when — especially when — that world seems topsy turvy, scary, wild and unpredictable. And thank you for having the courage to withdraw back into your Self, to fill your own well, allowing your own healing through the waters to and from their Source.

And now, a prayer:

May we each flow with the Mighty Element of Water.

May the Undines, Mer People, Dolphins and the Swimming Ones

Join with us as we join and flow with them.

May the Mighty Element of Water protect and honor

The Water Protectors at Standing Rock.

May the Mighty Element of Water reclaim Her Sovereignty:

Never again allowing Herself to be forced into abuse.

May water cannons reverse upon those intending harm,

Blast away the corporate fascism

And generational brainwashing.

May the Mighty Element of Water cleanse all hatred, fear and greed.

May this cleansing purify and irrigate the hearts

Of any souls so parched that they only know The Wasteland.

May the Grail pour Awen upon the crowns of all involved.

May inspiration and understanding fill their eyes

Like Salmon of Wisdom leaping against the current

Into Destiny.

May the Tides of Change relieve any droughts

And nourish hill and dale, and field and tree.

May the Crystalline Grid support the rivers and streams

That lead to Great Lakes and the Pulsing Ocean.

May the Mighty Element of Water

Re-member Her Way as we ride Her Waves.

What Really Happened at the First Thanksgiving? The Wampanoag Side of the Tale

I grew up on the South Shore, a few towns away from Plymouth. The Mayflower, Plymouth Rock, and the Plimoth Plantation are still popular tourist spots. A childhood next door neighbor and school chum worked there as a young man. He said they used to make up outrageous things about the settlers to tell the tourists, just because they were bored, and people believed everything they said, because they were dressed in costume.  I trust that the Wampanoags know better than any of us what actually transpired. ~PB

This is a popular image of the first Thanksgiving, a painting by Jean Leon Gerome Ferris.
But this is definitely NOT what happened.

What Really Happened at the First Thanksgiving?
The Wampanoag Side of the Tale

by Gale Courey Toensing

11/23/12

When you hear about the Pilgrims and “the Indians” harmoniously sharing the “first Thanksgiving” meal in 1621, the Indians referred to so generically are the ancestors of the contemporary members of the Wampanoag Nation. As the story commonly goes, the Pilgrims who sailed from England on the Mayflower and landed at what became Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 1620 had a good harvest the next year. So Plymouth Gov. William Bradford organized a feast to celebrate the harvest and invited a group of “Native American allies, including the Wampanoag chief Massasoit” to the party. The feast lasted three days and, according to chronicler Edward Winslow, Bradford sent four men on a “fowling mission” to prepare for the feast and the Wampanoag guests brought five deer to the party. And ever since then, the story goes, Americans have celebrated Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. Not exactly, Ramona Peters, the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe’s Tribal Historic Preservation Officer told Indian Country Today Media Network in a conversation on the day before Thanksgiving 2012—391 years since that mythological “first Thanksgiving.”

We know what we’re taught in mainstream media and in schools is made up. What’s the Wampanoag version of what happened?

Yeah, it was made up. It was Abraham Lincoln who used the theme of Pilgrims and Indians eating happily together. He was trying to calm things down during the Civil War when people were divided. It was like a nice unity story.

So it was a political thing?

Yes, it was public relations. It’s kind of genius, in a way, to get people to sit down and eat dinner together. Families were divided during the Civil War.

So what really happened?

We made a treaty. The leader of our nation at the time—Yellow Feather Oasmeequin [Massasoit] made a treaty with (John) Carver [the first governor of the colony]. They elected an official while they were still on the boat. They had their charter. They were still under the jurisdiction of the king [of England]—at least that’s what they told us. So they couldn’t make a treaty for a boatload of people so they made a treaty between two nations—England and the Wampanoag Nation.

What did the treaty say?

It basically said we’d let them be there and we would protect them against any enemies and they would protect us from any of ours. [The 2011 Native American copy coin commemorates the 1621 treaty between the Wampanoag tribe and the Pilgrims of Plymouth colony.] It was basically an I’ll watch your back, you watch mine’ agreement. Later on we collaborated on jurisdictions and creating a system so that we could live together.

What’s the Mashpee version of the 1621 meal?

You’ve probably heard the story of how Squanto assisted in their planting of corn? So this was their first successful harvest and they were celebrating that harvest and planning a day of their own thanksgiving. And it’s kind of like what some of the Arab nations do when they celebrate by shooting guns in the air. So this is what was going on over there at Plymouth. They were shooting guns and canons as a celebration, which alerted us because we didn’t know who they were shooting at. So Massasoit gathered up some 90 warriors and showed up at Plymouth prepared to engage, if that was what was happening, if they were taking any of our people. They didn’t know. It was a fact-finding mission.

When they arrived it was explained through a translator that they were celebrating the harvest, so we decided to stay and make sure that was true, because we’d seen in the other landings—[Captain John] Smith, even the Vikings had been here—so we wanted to make sure so we decided to camp nearby for a few days. During those few days, the men went out to hunt and gather food—deer, ducks, geese, and fish. There are 90 men here and at the time I think there are only 23 survivors of that boat, the Mayflower, so you can imagine the fear. You have armed Natives who are camping nearby. They [the colonists] were always vulnerable to the new land, new creatures, even the trees—there were no such trees in England at that time. People forget they had just landed here and this coastline looked very different from what it looks like now. And their culture—new foods, they were afraid to eat a lot of things. So they were very vulnerable and we did protect them, not just support them, we protected them. You can see throughout their journals that they were always nervous and, unfortunately, when they were nervous they were very aggressive.

So the Pilgrims didn’t invite the Wampanoags to sit down and eat turkey and drink some beer?

[laughs] Ah, no. Well, let’s put it this way. People did eat together [but not in what is portrayed as “the first Thanksgiving]. It was our homeland and our territory and we walked all through their villages all the time. The differences in how they behaved, how they ate, how they prepared things was a lot for both cultures to work with each other. But in those days, it was sort of like today when you go out on a boat in the open sea and you see another boat and everyone is waving and very friendly—it’s because they’re vulnerable and need to rely on each other if something happens. In those days, the English really needed to rely on us and, yes, they were polite as best they could be, but they regarded us as savages nonetheless.

So you did eat together sometimes, but not at the legendary Thanksgiving meal.

No. We were there for days. And this is another thing: We give thanks more than once a year in formal ceremony for different season, for the green corn thanksgiving, for the arrival of certain fish species, whales, the first snow, our new year in May—there are so many ceremonies and I think most cultures have similar traditions. It’s not a foreign concept and I think human beings who recognize greater spirit then they would have to say thank you in some formal way.

What are Mashpee Wampanoags taught about Thanksgiving now?

Most of us are taught about the friendly Indians and the friendly Pilgrims and people sitting down and eating together. They really don’t go into any depth about that time period and what was going on in 1620. It was a whole different mindset. There was always focus on food because people had to work hard to go out and forage for food, not the way it is now. I can remember being in Oklahoma amongst a lot of different tribal people when I was in junior college and Thanksgiving was coming around and I couldn’t come home—it was too far and too expensive—and people were talking about, Thanksgiving, and, yeah, the Indians! And I said, yeah, we’re the Wampanoags. They didn’t know! We’re not even taught what kind of Indians, Hopefully, in the future, at least for Americans, we do need to get a lot brighter about other people.

So, basically, today the Wampanoag celebrate Thanksgiving the way Americans celebrate it, or celebrate it as Americans?

Yes, but there’s another element to this that needs to be noted as well. The Puritans believed in Jehovah and they were listening for Jehovah’s directions on a daily basis and trying to figure out what would please their God. So for Americans, for the most part there’s a Christian element to Thanksgiving so formal prayer and some families will go around the table and ask what are you thankful for this year. In Mashpee families we make offerings of tobacco. For traditionalists, we give thanks to our first mother, our human mother, and to Mother Earth. Then, because there’s no real time to it you embrace your thanks in passing them into the tobacco without necessarily speaking out loud, but to actually give your mind and spirit together thankful for so many things… Unfortunately, because we’re trapped in this cash economy and this 9-to-5 [schedule], we can’t spend the normal amount of time on ceremonies, which would last four days for a proper Thanksgiving.

Do you regard Thanksgiving as a positive thing?

As a concept, a heartfelt Thanksgiving is very important to me as a person. It’s important that we give thanks. For me, it’s a state of being. You want to live in a state of thanksgiving, meaning that you use the creativity that the Creator gave you. You use your talents. You find out what those are and you cultivate them and that gives thanks in action.

And will your family do something for Thanksgiving?

Yes, we’ll do the rounds, make sure we contact family members, eat with friends and then we’ll all celebrate on Saturday at the social and dance together with the drum.

Many are becoming sick with hypothermia, losing their bodily functions, medical help is not getting through, there was a small fire. The water cannons were pretty intense.

I have been on a good, steady, work flow routine, with massage clients every day,
and felt the need for a break.  It’s part of my intent to walk my talk and do more self-care,
so I can feel grounded and balanced, easily able to help my clients, without feeling depleted.
With all the energies and aspects hitting us lately, and personal changes,
I have not been able to sleep well, or long enough.
Sometimes it is good to get out of the city, away from normal routines,
in order to gain new perspective, decompress and unwind.
It’s late season, so the water on the North shore is cold, but of course I went in to refresh myself.
The ocean was clean and clear to the sandy bottom, the waves gentle, the winds slight and calm.

Glistening, soft waves…

Last day of Summer with a hint of Autumn…

View from the train…

Inner harbor…

Seaside commuter village…

Singing Beach, with sand that “squeaks”…

Rocky cliffs and islands…

So nice by the water…

Plenty of room on an off-season beach

Lots of benches for contemplation…

Groups who camp for the day tend to bring umbrellas…

Beach Roses remind me of childhood…

A protected harbor…

Sunset…

On the road again…

It gets dark so early!
Despite the warm day, we can really feel the change of season upon us.
So after grabbing a bite to eat in town (Lobster Roll special!),
I caught an early train (7:30 or so) back to Boston.
I’m glad I took this day, and after my Epsom salt bath, I feel sleepy early.
Early client tomorrow, for which I am grateful.
