As we are entering the period of Mercury retrograde; however on Monday October 28th early in the morning the Sun in Scorpio is opposite Uranus in Taurus. We are feeling it all through the week prior to this one. We feel a sense of urgency or we can feel something is happening but usually can’t put our finger on it. Once an aspect is at its peak which is what I talk about then it’s time to use the energy that has come to a head.

The moon is new in the 5th degree of Scorpio at 3:40 a.m. UT on 28th October. This moon marks an opportunity to stop and take stock, turn within and ask some probing questions about what’s really going on in the places we most struggle in our lives. Excuses won’t cut it now. Pussy-footing around the point won’t work. Honest answers are necessary. We’ll know them by their energetic charge which floods our being when we articulate truth. We don’t even have to share it with others right now. It may indeed take some time to come to terms with it ourselves! But truth spoken in the privacy of our own hearts is still truth nonetheless. Doing so can be the first step to integrating its catalysing presence in our life. Even the most unpalatable truths can still set us free.
With the moon’s north node crossing the solar eclipse degree of 2nd July at the time of this new moon, feelings which arose back then – and the circumstances which triggered them – may find resolution now. Insights gained in July are coming into their own, paving the way for a manifest change of pace or direction. If it feels like slipping back into a state you thought you’d finished with, remember that life is a spiral not a roundabout! We do indeed revisit things many times, but always from a slightly different perspective or point of view. We are never the same person twice, no matter how much we may feel ourselves to be. The North Node facilitates the manifestation of our future not entrapment in the past. But we must do our part to make that happen, and if life is full of ‘déjà vu’ right now we may well be receiving a precious opportunity to revisit issues from earlier this year, to make different and better choices.
With Mercury turning retrograde in Scorpio on 31st October, this is no time for obfuscation to escape the pain of waking up. What we avoid at this moon may well come back to slap us in the face in November! It can hurt to be confronted with the fact and consequences of our denials, deceptions, avoidance and projections. But when we refuse to dramatise that pain into a crisis it can eventually subside, leaving the fresh air and space of a psyche cleansed of emotional debris. Uranus opposing this moon offers exactly this freedom. For many, recent times have been extremely intense and the future looks like more of the same. But this moon reminds us respite and relief exist right here, right now. In accepting that the path of wisdom leads us through scary terrain, we’re no longer beholden to the power of unbridled emotion or the imposing nature of our personal shadowlands. We can face what we must and still prevail. Then we are truly free.
Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio
On 31st October at 15:35 UT, Mercury turns retrograde in the 28th degree of Scorpio and remains so until 20th November 2019. In this sign Mercury engages with secrets and lies, investigations and exposés. It will dig as deeply as needed to reach the root of an issue. Polite chit-chat is not the domain of Mercury in Scorpio. Be prepared for some uncomfortable but enlightening conversations! Conjunct Venus as it about-turns, this retrograde phase is well placed to expose the deceptions in our relationships, illuminating where we subtly – or not so subtly – play with the truth to retain control and stay safe.
We may, of course, resist such revelation with all our might. But no matter why we keep secrets or hide aspects of ourselves, this Mercury will root them out, sometimes in the guise of other people digging their nose in where it’s least welcome! However adept we may have been at maintaining a smoke-screen or pulling the wool over certain eyes, this Mercury retrograde could change all that. And if it does… don’t panic! Whatever’s revealed now is better out in the open than hidden in the shadows. It has less power that way. And its revelation may just transform it into a more wholesome force in our lives, no matter how mucky it appears on first exposure to the light of day.
True protection is found in a Moon/Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius at Mercury’s retrograde station, assuring us it’s okay – all this exposure, all these revelations. Look upon them as a release of stale breath held tight for years. It’s been poisoning us and we don’t need it anymore. This planetary alliance reminds us how resilient we really are and how the power of realistic positivity can bring us through what at first appears insurmountable. So whatever may be upper-most in your life during the month to come, remember the following will carry you through: hope in the potential for change, faith in your ability to rise and commitment to using even the sharpest challenges as fuel for the journey ahead.

The truth of our reality is being revealed constantly now and it’s relentless. It’s happening all day, every day, on every topic and in every life area. It’s happening on personal, inner and private life levels, and on global, collective and societal levels. This can feel overwhelming. It can feel liberating. It can be confronting. It can be confusing. It can trigger shock and trauma. It can create a feeling of heaviness in the air, and a feeling that great change is upon us.
It can be exhausting because no sooner have you discovered one new layer of reality that you weren’t aware of, you’re finding another, then another. Sometimes new layers cancel out the truth of other layers. Other times new layers make previous layers make more sense. Life right now is like an archaeological dig on steroids – find ways to stay hydrated, nourished and sane!
Emotionally at times it can feel like you are drowning or suffocating with the enormity of all that is coming out (whether it’s related to your own life, the life of your loved ones, or more collective situations). Sometimes we aren’t even aware why we’re feeling like this. Most people these days are far more sensitive than they realise, and are picking up on the shaking of the reality tree without knowing that’s what is happening.
If you resonate with this, it’s important to find ways to breathe it out and stay connected to your inner centre (that’s where the calm is).
Do things to reconnect you to YOU:
go for a walk, spend time in nature, journal, garden, bake,
do something creative or fun, spend time with your family and loved ones,
talk about whatever you need to talk about with people you feel safe with.
The closer Saturn gets to Pluto (meeting exact on Jan 12, 2020), the more intense this shaking of the reality tree might feel. It’s not a bad thing, but it can be a challenging thing. If you feel like crying, cry. If you feel frustrated, go for a run or nature walk, clear your head and allow positive solutions and inspiration to come to you.
What happens after we give a fruit tree a good shake? We collect the fruit into our baskets, and we go off to make our apple pie or plum jam. This is Saturn and Pluto – they can really rattle us, but it’s all for the purpose of us realising what’s what: What’s reality, what’s not? What do we have to work with? What do we still need to work on? What can we do with what we have? What do you want? What do you need to do to have what you say you want to have?
There is resistance to truth coming out, some of it conscious, some subconscious. Some of the resistance might be within you, some of it is within others. Cognitive dissonance, denial and projection can be the mind’s way of dealing with information that it doesn’t want to be true, or isn’t ready to accept as true. It can be the body’s way of processing energy that it doesn’t know how to otherwise process.
This resistance creates a washing machine type effect of swirling turmoil and chaos. There is fighting and division as people argue “This is the truth” vs No, THIS is the truth”. This fighting and division can happen within us also as different aspects of ourselves battle it out “Change! You can do it! Break free!” vs “No, I can’t do it! I’ll never survive!”
Let go of the tug-o-war rope by loosening the polarity mindset. On a personal level: you might be shouting at the universe “Where is my soulmate??!!!” Meanwhile, there is a part of you inside quietly saying “Please allow this time with yourself….there is a gift here.” You may be frustrated that certain financial or career doors aren’t opening for you. Meanwhile the lull is what activates a new creative idea that you wouldn’t have had otherwise, that leads to eventual success. Delays or detours aren’t always due to a “block” in your energy. They can be flashing signs saying “Not this way….go that way! That way is better! You’ll love that way!”
On a collective level: when you think that “your side’ is right, and the “other side” is wrong, it can be very hard to see things from another perspective. Zoom out and seek the truth in each unique situation. When we are bound to “one side” we can blind ourselves to any good on the other side, or any bad on our side.
And then we have the role of the media – mainstream, alternative and social – all of which are playing huge roles in our reality-creation, and trying-to-make-sense-of-reality process. Pay attention to when you need to unplug from all of it for a few hours or days or weeks!
If mainstream media had a Relationships Status right now it would be #itscomplicated.
On Monday all Australian newspapers blacked out blocks of text on their front pages, as part of the launch of their Right to Know (what our government is doing) campaign, and are demanding greater protection for whistleblowers. This interestingly enough happened on the same day that Julian Assange’s hearing happened in the UK. Ironically, the mainstream media haven’t exactly been supporting him even though he could be the poster boy for their campaign!! On the one hand some feel this is hypocritical, on the other hand it could be a very clear example of why the campaign is needed – have they not supported him because they have been muzzled from doing so?
Meanwhile Project Veritas has been uploading videos secretly taken by CNN whistleblowers, showing that their journalists are told what to report and what angle to take specifically regarding President Trump.
Google whistleblower Zach Vorhies continues outing their operations documents which show blacklisted sites and search terms, pushing things like natural health and wellness sites out of easy view.
We are being shown VERY CLEARLY that the news we get (even in spaces that we think we have control of like our social media or search engines) is being tightly controlled. This is usually done under the guise of “protecting the public”, when for the most part it’s more about shepherding the public to think a certain way, act a certain way, don’t look here, look there, and conform to agendas set by those way up at the top of our society’s pyramid structure.
This is not a conspiracy theory. It’s real, it’s happening, and it goes way back to the post WWII social behavioural engineering black ops projects like Operation Paperclip, MK Ultra and Operation Mockingbird.
What does this have to do with our spiritual awakening process? Everything. We are here to be free, free to live our full potential as individuals, as families, as communities and as a collective humanity. We haven’t been able to do this under the control structure that’s been over us, and we haven’t been able to dismantle the control structure because 99% of people haven’t known about it! How can we awaken from something we don’t even know exists?!
Truth has been labelled as conspiracies. The pattern has been that people ridicule anyone who questions official stories and narratives. However, there’s been a disruption in that pattern over the last few years and it’s gaining momentum.
Hidden power-players have been pulling the strings on our global reality show for a long time.
Reality 1:
We have the surface illusion world
that has been presented to us as reality.
Reality 2 and 3 are called “conspiracies”
Reality 2:
We have a hidden world
where all manner of dark deals are done and secrets are kept.
Humanity has had to be increasingly manipulated
in ever more elaborate ways to keep us uninformed,
behaviourally controlled
and unaware of Reality 2.
Reality 3:
We have the true nature of our greater reality,
our true potential and our real history
…all of which we’re slowly having to piece together.
Regardless of which reality you prefer to live in or acknowledge, all timelines are collapsing into each other now. The reality tree is being well and truly shaken and stirred, with everything coming out revealing ALL realities.
These 3 realities have been existing simultaneously within our one world, each separate to the others, yet intertwined in ways we haven’t known about. What’s happening now is, the walls between all these realities are coming down which is triggering “awakening” in some and mentally “unhinged” type responses in others.
To paint a picture: When a person has disassociative identity disorder they have compartmentalised fragments of their memory and personality. Personality X doesn’t know about Personality Y. In the case of trauma-based mind control these personalities are intentionally created, so that they can be controlled. The different personalities aren’t ever supposed to meet or know about each other, and if they do it can result in a complete breakdown of the person’s core identity. In a way, we have collectively been experiencing disassociative identity disorder, existing within multiple realities. Now imagine that the walls between these realities are coming down, so now the realities are merging and spilling into each other. The breakdown we are currently witnessing (global protests, revelations re powerful people and trafficking/child abuse, extreme division etc) is part of the breakdown of our old collective core identity.
With time, healing and mutual support a new collective identity and reality will emerge, one that is based on truth. No longer splintered or fragmented, humanity will emerge, bruised but not broken, ready to ask ourselves: how might our world look without the control and secrets we’ve been existing under? It’s exciting to think about but in the meantime…….the breakdown is in process, and we have to go through it.
And even if you have had your own personal “breakdown” or “awakening”, you still need to be there to help others through theirs, and witness everything as it unfolds.

Background
As a reminder, we live in unprecedented times. This requires regular updating of approaches for navigating the world. As the chaos of society’s massive overhaul unfolds we are learning to adapt more quickly than our ancestors could.
This speedy adaptation is essential and it’s an ongoing thing for each of us. I mention this so you can come back to context of the big picture. We are conditioned to compare things with what happened before, and what we did before. That linear perspective is not only unworkable for living as quantum beings, but it won’t support us in adapting with increasing quickness to this modern form of chaos. We must be flexible, open, and available for shifting on a dime! Don’t let that scare you. Your life is purposeful, not accidental. It’s important to remember this daily. Trust that you will be intuitively shown what you need to evolve. Stay present. Meditate and do your spiritual practice daily. Inquire within as much or more than you inquire in your outside world. Spiritual Heart Wisdom
Deep within you is your enlightened spiritual heart. It can help you see the truth of things. It can help you bring your focus back to what’s important when you start worrying or ruminating. It knows what’s good for you – on a spiritual level – beyond what your human eyes can see. When you get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of what you need to engage with on a daily basis – your spiritual heart can help you come back to yourself and what’s essential in the moment.
Energies to Watch
During the remainder of October and into November are some key energies to watch.
Scorpio New Moon – October 27-28: This moon is likely to catalyze very deep feelings. Extremely old wounds may arise surprisingly after you see a longtime friend or view something online. Emotions may be on the surface in all kinds of conversations, reflecting upset with happenstance. To benefit most, apply your spiritual tools and take time daily to go within and be still. Mercury Retrograde – October 31-November 20: The most obvious impact is communications, sometimes leading to missed meetings or misunderstandings about what was said. During an intense time like we have now, cycles like retrogrades tend to feel amplified. Do your best to be calm. One day at a time, staying present to yourself and your inner guidance about how to respond. Moving Into November: As we begin November you may notice more hidden information coming to light regarding things that were hidden. These certainly will be societal in nature, but we’re all personally impacted. Consider this: Oftentimes our conditioned self will suppress information it doesn’t want to see or deal with. It’s like a protective shield. In these times of radical changes, the sheer momentum of so much shifting in the outer world can dismantle that shield. All of a sudden, it seems, we can see something about ourselves that we couldn’t access before. These self-realizations can be just what we needed to break out of our self-imposed protection – becoming more free and able to shine our light.

There is also additional energy available at this time from your Invisible Team of Support from your own Angels, Ancestors & Animal Spirit Guides who walk with you now & always. This New Moon opens a portal of sorts, one that allows us to align with the ultimate power of transformation, transcending the current form, on Individual Sun/Moon levels, as well as Social/Collective levels. And because the form is being seeded at this time, you may not exactly know what the logistics (3D) are, but you can connect with the *Essence* of what you want to co-create ~ the essence of what you want to feel ~ the essence of what you want your Earthly Experience to be! Connect to that *Essence* ~ Connect to the level of authentic power that your individual system can handle at this time ~ Connect to that which you want to bring to Life, that which you want to bring from Invisible Form (Scorpio), in to Visible Form (Taurus) in a way that serves you and benefits others, while harming none. Then, do your Power Wishes/Scorpio Intentions around initiating another Annual Cycle of Transformation & Manifestation. We are expanding the possibilities as we speak, that enable us to combine our deepest core values with our most expanded vision for humanity! One.soul.at.a.time.
This New Moon asks us to get *congruent* with our inner & outer selves and renew our commitment to positive change. All of this speaks to the new realms emerging in place of all that has crumbled in recent years. Many sprouts of your hard work are breaking ground, and if not, I suspect that a clearing is in the works so it won’t be long (hang in there). As you’re setting your New Moon intentions, consider how you *feel* about Pluto issues: death, power, sex and money (among other things). Renew your dedication to holding your own structure, owning your Inner Authority and directing your personal power in new & better ways. All of that is getting an upgrade thanks to the current alignments in the sky pattern.
So I would add here ~ that it is also the time of year when we do the most readings & consulting with the Ancestors because it is the time we ask for clarity on all that has gone before so that we can make the best decisions about how to go forward, with their blessing. There is an Underworld Journey of sorts, that is available & customized for each of us but I’m happy to guide & support you as you navigate your own. I am finding that I have to *schedule* integration time these days but it’s so rich & potent – at this *conception point* – that I don’t want to miss out on that energy either! 10/27 ~ Mars (anger) ~square~ Saturn (restriction):
This is the energy of action being restricted and the anger or frustration that follows. You can either be angry and feel restricted, limited and unable to move … or you can see this energy as an opportunity to define the right actions to take and strategically plan to take them later, when the Universe is more supportive. This energy requires us to slow down and double check The Plan. If you proceed consciously, your plan has a better chance of success than if you were reckless & impatient. You may experience a blockage of some sort, internal or external. You may feel this tremendous urge to change or move forward in your life but seem to find blockages and limitations with every effort. That is likely your perception, not necessarily the reality, so better to ask yourself if you somehow feel inadequate to the task at hand? What are you afraid of? Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real – release fear and choose to be responsible for creating your life. If you don’t, your outer circumstance only becomes a reflection of your inner belief. You will attract criticism and repel support. Take your grand vision and figure out three small steps you can take on this restricted level that is still taking you in the direction of your goal. Don’t try to initiate at this time, this is a time for cultivating, planning, working behind the scenes, doing the detail work and foundational (grunt work) that is NECESSARY to support the grand vision when the time comes to fully express it.
10/28 ~ Sun (core essential self) ~oppose~ Uranus (liberation):
Be ready for surprises with this energy. Your routine may be disrupted, by you and/or others. Now is not the time to be practical, nor is it time to make any huge decisions. What it is best for is experimenting with alternative modes of expression. A part of you undergoes a mini-transformation under this energy’s influence because it wakes up a part of you that is requiring expression now. You may not recognize it right away, but you have changed! You are a new “you” and it’s time that you acknowledged that fact, so everyone else can too.
10/30 ~ Mercury (ideas, thoughts & concepts) ~conjunct~ Venus (values, priorities & resources):
This energy encourages you to see the Divine Order or the unifying theme running through the events of your life ~ good, bad & indifferent as well as past, present & future. This is an initiation of new values around communication, self-expression and the value of your ideas. You may finally be able to express ideas that have been percolating in your head for a while now, or some people say “I love you” at this time, or articulate their feelings in deeper, more expressive ways. It’s really *juicy* for your Inner Artist, this is the beginning of expressing your creative ideas in altogether new & different ways than ever before. Allow your Imagination to free-flow. Play with ideas with no attachment to outcome. Take advantage and explore all that this energy stirs within you, but don’t give in to over-thinking/processing things. These connections are richer, giving you access to deeper personal growth & development through a new understanding of how all the events of your life work together for good, ultimately. You can see the necessity of certain challenges and clearly see your own personal mastery thus far. Celebrate and choose to create some new thought patterns that integrate and reflect more beauty throughout your life.
10/31 ~ Mercury Retro in SCORPIO (Dir: 11/20 ~ Into SAG: 12/9):
Mercury lingering in Scorpio is asking us all to do a little processing & integration in that Area of Life (House). It is time to process things in a different way, look at life from a different perspective and review the last quarter, 3-months, minimum. Mercury Retrograde is best for activating different filters for everything, detach and consider it personal research. I’d remind you here that Mercury retrogrades 3-4 times per year. It’s an excellent time to turn all your inquiry & expression INWARD and reflect on how your Mental Body is doing. It is a delicious practice to get into scheduling your personal processing times to coincide with a Mercury Retrograde, especially when in Signs that directly affect you because then it is personal. This year, my Pisces, Cancer & Scorpio Babies will have some extra processing to do but for the rest of us, the process still happens, but you want to look to the Houses in your chart to find the Areas of Life being activated for you personally. It’s not listed anymore but I still do a Special Mercury Retro reading if you ever want to dive deeper with me. 2020 is going to be a Water/Air combo and 2021 will be All Air like 2019 was All Water, which also happens about every 5-6 years when Mercury will activate one Element so you can loosely track your own mental evolution. This year, 2019, was primarily in the Water Signs. March in Pisces, July in Cancer, with a dip to 4* Leo, and now, Nov in Scorpio. The last time we had a Water Year with Mercury Retrograde was 2013, so you may want to gauge your emotional maturity over that time, the cultivation (and execution) of your ideas, thoughts & concepts, what you’ve learned – and in this case, Scorpio: what have you learned about your own personal power to create your world? What do you think about your sex life at this time? How are you making yourself more valuable to the team so you can establish more financial stability? What mental attitude has run its course and needs to die so a new mental attitude can live and thrive in real time?
Things to remember about Mercury Retro in SCORPIO:
~ It is a conception point in some way, shape or form. You’re conceiving a new way of thinking, perceiving & processing what you’re learning as you navigate the year.
~ Shadow work of any kind is deeply supported & particularly fruitful under this influence.
~ It’s time to activate your Inner Detective and choose to “investigate” (with no judgment on what you discover) – you are merely gathering information on your own mind, mental body, mentality, how you think, express yourself and process the world around you.
~ It’s time to communicate on a Soul Level and connect with your deepest emotions, face your fears, research taboos, dig out secrets that are growing toxic and renew your connection to your own Soul.
~ Here we sometimes access our own unique RAW TRUTH (which is more/less challenging depending on your individual Nature) – but remember, you are not only uncovering the dark, negative ideas, thoughts & concepts, but once certain things are brought into the light of conscious awareness, they can be transformed or transmuted so the energy is liberated and freed up to be useful elsewhere. So too will you find your own buried treasure, hidden potential or untapped resources you have yet to consider.
~ Any time in the Scorpio realms we have to acknowledge your own Shadow. I suggest giving it something to do so it doesn’t undermine your evolution in toxic, repetitive patterns.
~ This is a good time to reclaim the power of your mind. What are you allowing to influence your thoughts & ideas? It’s time to re-set to your original blueprint and start fresh in some way.
~ Remember the creative and destructive power of language. It is time to renew your language or learn a new language altogether.
Finally, we have the upcoming Scorpio Gate of Power (11/7), also known as Access the Ancestors, All Souls Day, Day of the Dead, Samhain and many other names around the world in cultures that celebrate the Life/Death/Life process. This is the time when we honor the Death aspect of that never-ending cycle. It is an important aspect of Life and it is my favorite time of year, in the Northern Hemisphere. And even in the Southern Hemisphere, it may be Spring but it is still Scorpio time, Oct/Nov – so we can all honor this season as a season of change & renewal.
