Moon Phase Matrix:
Full Moon Phase –  illumination, realization, fulfillment

Moon in Scorpio

Emissary of the Aeon Sophia (Wisdom): Chinnamasta, She Who Expands the Mind

Emissary of the Aeon Thelete (Will): Ian, The Wind of the East

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Month/Year: “a woman’s hat with streamers blown by the east wind”

From Andrew: Today the Sun sits as 23 degrees Aries and 54 minutes, and with this we round up to 24 degrees Aries, where the Sabian Symbol is AN OPEN WINDOW AND A NET CURTAIN BLOWING INTO A CORNUCOPIA. More wind blowing for us today.

For this month, the Mahavidya who is at out side is Chinnamasta, the goddess who expands the mind. I have been revisiting the archives to remember a little more about her energy. Please see the audio recording from that period featuring Laura Walker and myself:

Also from the archives describing the energy of Chinnamasta:

If you look up Chinnamasta, the first thing you will notice in the depictions of her is that she has severed her own head.  As I’ve cautioned many times, most of the information about the Mahavidyas has a patriarchal slant.  Chinnamasta doesn’t cut off our heads; she blows our minds.  She expands our awareness and understanding beyond what we have taken into consideration.  This is rather perfect when you think about how we are preparing to emerge in the way a butterfly emerges from a cocoon with the energetic “upgrade” that comes with the New Moon . . . Don’t underestimate yourself in any way.  Chinnamasta’s first lesson is that we are much more than we know that we are.  She breaks self-imposed limitations so that we can express who we really are.  Truly we are blessed with this.

As we enter the disseminating phase in the next day, it is a time of sharing. We will be sharing more about this. Stay tuned!
